The ITAM Forum Enters Greater China
Global IT Asset Management Community Extends Reach to Chinese-Speaking Professionals
The ITAM Forum is pleased to announce the creation of its newest chapter, ITAM Forum Greater China Area (IFGCA). This initiative advances the organisation’s worldwide mission to promote best-in-class IT Asset Management. In Chinese-speaking regions, the need for effective standards, compliance, and cost optimisation continues to rise.
Why Greater China?
China is the world’s second-largest market for enterprise software, hardware, and cloud services. With an emphasis on intellectual property and technology spend, organisations in Chinese-speaking territories face distinct challenges relating to governing and optimising IT investments.
The IFGCA sets out to:
- Build Communities: Establish local networks for Chinese-speaking ITAM professionals.
- Align Standards: Champion global methodologies (e.g. ISO 19770) and proven industry frameworks within regional ITAM circles.
- Gather Feedback: Capture insights from Chinese enterprises’ unique experiences and feed these into the development of global ITAM policies, standards, and best practices.

ITAM Forum今天宣布成立全新分支机构 – IT资产管理大中华论坛（ITAM Forum Greater China Area, 简称IFGCA），进一步推动ITAM Forum在全球范围内推广IT资产管理（IT Asset Management，简称“ITAM”）最佳实践经验的使命。随着中文地区对IT资产合规性，成本优化以及标准化管理需求的不断攀升，此举将有效填补当前中文市场空白。
