Meet an ISO/IEC 19770-1 auditor

In February 2023, Brand Compliance, in collaboration with ITAM Forum, issued the world’s first, two certificates for ISO/IEC 19770-1. This is a management system standard that focuses on the management of IT assets. The standard offers an overview of the different categories of IT assets and views these categories in a process-based way.

Meet Yorick

Yorick Heijink is the Lead Auditor at Brand Compliance for ISO/IEC 19770-1, 9001 and 27001. Prior to becoming a certification auditor, Yorick was a Product Manager and Project Manager within the IT services and consulting sector.

2022 has been a tremendous year for us, but we’re gearing up for 2023 to be even better with the introduction of the world’s first, globally-recognised and accepted ISO/IEC 19770-1 certification scheme. Is ITAM starting to move the needle? Findings from the 2022 Flexera ‘State of ITAM’ Report

Flexera (an ITAM Forum Patron) recently released the findings of its second annual Flexera State of ITAM Report. More than 500 IT executives from around the world – who manage and participate in ITAM, SAM and HAM processes in organizations of 1,000+ employees – participated in this survey. 59% came from the U.S.A. and 17% (the highest figure) from the Financial Services industry.
